Charlie has to be the smartest HC that ever sucked at being a HC. He's now collecting big checks from two different schools and isn't coaching for either of them. Maybe THAT's the schematic advantage?

9 Years ago at this time he was probably the hottest name in coaching and inking a ridiculous extension. Now he's getting fired by Kansas. I'm sure BBQ joints all over East-Central Kansas are weeping right now...

So much of it had to do with ESPiN and ND's own hype machines. Hard to believe he gets an extension w/ND unless they bought into their own PR and ESPiN's bs. Or that Kentucky hires him (esp at that price) if not for ESPiN's bs.
It's always amusing to me how the very people who craft these mythologies (Tebow, soon Manziel) turn on them.
