Joe Haden (Cleveland Browns)

From what I have heard, Chris Rainey will most likely be used as a WR, they have already received a verbal from a Lakeland WR named Paul Wilson (though my Gator friend told me not to expect too much from him -- but he could still bea solid player) and Dion LeCorn is a very likely commit, w/maybe 1 or 2 more guys coming in as well. Meyer likes to use 10 WR, and those names + the guys from last year and the year before give them very solid WR depth.

Haden could come here and be in the 2 deep within his first 2 years with less competition. Saine, Small and Haden split wide would wreck havoc as they fly around.... nobody would be able to catch them. Not to mention Robiskie, Hartline, Dukes and Lyons as threats. Ohio State, to me, seems like the logical choice... but maybe I need to take my homerism down a notch or two.... though that is very unlikely :).

No because Haden is going to decide before the season starts. I guess he is going to visit OSU on August 8th and then decide. I thought he was a lock to come to Florida but now I don't know. It wouldn't shock me to see him go to OSU.

Florida has more highly regarded prospects at WR to compete with but that really doesn't mean that much. It is all about performance. I think Haden would have a chance to get some PT early at either OSU or Florida.

Recruiting rankings mean jack as soon as soon as the kids get on campus and get in a particular system...just ask Willie Williams..

Actually, one of the most heralded recruits out of the last few years was Xavier Carter because of his blazing speed. He has now deceided to leave football and run track full time. Just another story. Anyways, back to Haden.

Sorry to keep off topic, but...

...that probably had more to do with him being one of, if not the best sprinters in the NCAAs than anything.
