Krenzel ... Good, Bad or Ugly? (Long)

Captain Craig never ceases to impress. I love that kid ... what a great ambassador for tOSU.

Nixon, I agree that praise for CK can stand on its own merit. In the same breath, I didn't see the profs post as any type of backdoor slam on Maurice. In fact one could almost read it as being slightly chastizing of all the negative energy folks put into threads about Maurice. I guess the point is that not everyone wishes ill will towards Maurice. I don't. I think there are a lot of folks like me who may not agree with the way Maurice has conducted some of his affairs, but still wish the best for the young man.

Nixon - First a definition

juxtapose - to put side by side or close together

I put side by side the experience of tonight with the posts from another thread. That is, I was reflecting on the two experiences since they happened close together in time. This is simply self-reflection on my part. No dig at MoC, subtle or otherwise. No mentioning of MoC to praise CK. It was me putting the two experiences side by side and comparing. One can learn a lot by undertaking such exercises!!

And for the record, here is my original quote that you failed to copy in its entirety:

His demeanor, his accomplishments on the field, and his well-documented accomplishments off the field (in the classroom), served as a great juxtaposition when recalling the posts in a recent thread here about MoC.
How you start by saying, " If I read that Krenzel is a great juxtaposition to MoC, what do you want me to conclude from this?" is mind-boggling. I clearly stated that i was recalling posts in a recent thread. I did not state that CK is a great juxtaposition to MoC. Read the words that are there rather than reading words that you want to be there.

You will probably have to reply to this post since you seem to think you must always have the last word. Unless it contains another attempt at twisting things, I will not reply. This thread started because of a wonderful experience my boys had with CK and included a bit of introspection on my part. And somehow the introspection part got twisted into that I was MoC bashing. Hijack it if you want, but I hope that most people understand the point of the original post like Buckeye1 and Oh8ch did.

"typical dumbass liberal who wants zero responsibility....but likes to tell others how to live..."

Uh, actually your "typical dumbass liberal" would probably sympathize with Clarett and all the hardships he has had to endure and support him ad nauseum...like your boyfriend Nixon does.

did you come up with "slurpee boy" all by yourself or did a certain Hawaiian help you come up with that one?

"I clearly stated that i was recalling posts in a recent thread. I did not state that CK is a great juxtaposition to MoC. Read the words that are there rather than reading words that you want to be there."

And the posts in the thread are a great juxtaposition because...

"You will probably have to reply to this post since you seem to think you must always have the last word."

Just to make you happy.

Read 3yards post Nix, or at least this part of it

In the same breath, I didn't see the profs post as any type of backdoor slam on Maurice. In fact one could almost read it as being slightly chastizing of all the negative energy folks put into threads about Maurice.
Get it?!

Thanks for being predictable.

One other CK tidbit that I forgot. A dude in front of my boys asked CK what he thought about being drafted/where he would like to go. CK responded with, "I'll go on Sunday. At least I hope I go on Sunday. (Chuckles)". The man then rephrased the question as to which team he would like to go to. CK responded with, "I hope I go on Sunday." Refreshing to see that he has a good sense of humor too.
