TE Marcel Frost (official thread)

I remember reading an article on Frost back in the Spring about his decision to go to tOSU was largely influenced by being closer to home and his family, and that after his Grandmother passed away he really took on a bigger role as the oldest male child in his family and the maturation that came about from the loss.

It went on to say how when Marcel got in the Coaches' "dog house" and he was unable to play the first couple games in 2005 it really opened his eyes so to speak and how he didn't want to mess up the opportunity to play like he had before. I guess he should have re-read his own quotes.

I was rooting for him to really put the TE position "back on the map" in our offense. R. Nicole had talked about how impressed he was with Frost and that between the two of them the Bucks would have the best tight end combo in the Big Ten and maybe the nation. Looks like it's up to Rory now.

Very disapointing, especially considering the article about him in the Spring edition of Bucknuts magazine...

Will we A: run less two tight end sets now or B: throw Miller or Ballard into the fire early or C: see what Smith can do now that he jumped up a spot on the depth chart, I don't know much about Smith, who knows, he could shine.
