Frost made some great catches in traffic vs. scUM last year. He's got good speed and can take a hit.

We'll be using both Frost and Nicole in the two tights quite often I imagine.

Frost is suspended for the year, violation of team policy. Probably means either drugs or NCAA issues. Who knows at this point.

The Dispatch Web site isn't updated yet, expect an article soon.

damn. Frost had his opportunity and now its gone. Looks like Nicol will get most of the load at TE. :(

This is awful...didn't see this coming at all, fortunately we have some talent in the TE position...

scarletngrey11 All right, all right, all right.

I wonder now if both Ballard and Miller will redshirt?

I would say it is highly doubtful that they both redshirt now. Brandon Smith is our only other depth at that position... unless Hoobler switches back over (not going to happen, IMO)

Man, could've been Frost's year. Now its time for the other guys to step up.

For the life of me I will never understand how stupid some of these kids are. You have a once of a lifetime opportunity, and even if you dont go on to the NFL you just had a 50,000 dollar education free of charge. Why would you do anything to jeopardize that?

Frost has had a history of being in the doghouse, this time he fell into the gator pit......

I remember reading an article on Frost back in the Spring about his decision to go to tOSU was largely influenced by being closer to home and his family, and that after his Grandmother passed away he really took on a bigger role as the oldest male child in his family and the maturation that came about from the loss.

It went on to say how when Marcel got in the Coaches' "dog house" and he was unable to play the first couple games in 2005 it really opened his eyes so to speak and how he didn't want to mess up the opportunity to play like he had before. I guess he should have re-read his own quotes.

I was rooting for him to really put the TE position "back on the map" in our offense. R. Nicole had talked about how impressed he was with Frost and that between the two of them the Bucks would have the best tight end combo in the Big Ten and maybe the nation. Looks like it's up to Rory now.

Buckeye86 I do not choose to discuss it

Very disapointing, especially considering the article about him in the Spring edition of Bucknuts magazine...

Will we A: run less two tight end sets now or B: throw Miller or Ballard into the fire early or C: see what Smith can do now that he jumped up a spot on the depth chart, I don't know much about Smith, who knows, he could shine.

Ballard did well blocking Rose in the N/S game... I think he could see time as a 3rd string TE.
