I based it on my experience like most people probably would.

If it were based on my experience, it would be:

football
basketball
baseball/softball
track
cross country
wrestling
volleyball
golf

Those were the only sports at my high school. I feel kinda ripped off. Many of my friends in college played field hockey, lacrosse, rugby, etc. I would have loved to learn how to play those sports.

I added extras that weren't at my school like Lacrosse and the such.

currently over 100 varsity hs hockey teams in ohio, and more than 30 more club, depending on exactly how you define club.

ever been to the nat and taken a look at all the hs in the state with teams sweaters hanging up?

youd see from central ohio
the dublins
ua
hillards
worthingtons
gahanna
desales
etc
and another group like this from dayton etc. youre seeing this in every part of the state, in part thanks to the jackets, in thanks to new rinks. how many sheets were there 10 years ago in columbus? 2? osu and the chiller, look at today what 13 or 14 sheets today.

ps that knocking sound on your door is going to be svitov and/or okt to kick your ass.

All I ask, is that tennis gets a little bit of love. That's all.

Hey, I mentioned some sports in the poll that my league didn't even have so cut me some slack.

How many HS hockey programs are there outside of Cleveland?

Sure but Hockey is/was the #4 pro sport in the US pre-strike. Geeze dude, some respect please? As a man that is against pansies and pro firery crashes I would have thought that you would have at least put hockey on the list and not running for christ sake.

For me it was Hockey. I quit durring HS, ended up being an All-New England Goalie in Lacrosse and played in College, but Hockey was my best sport.

Man I miss it. I loved everything about Hockey. Freeken great sport.

I did not realise it, but that is EXACTLY what I am saying. Lets look at the poll for a second...

Football
Basketball
Baseball
Golf
Soccer
Swimming
Lacrosse
Track
Cross Country
Other

Football, OK starts manly enough. But it quickly moves to Basketball (Large men hopping together) Baseball?, then Golf and the running sports?

Other than Lax I kinda expect to see the next couple of sports being cheering, syncronized swiming and mens figure skating.
