I definately already respect Troy, and think he is a good player... He won tons of brownie points when he said, "I'm a Vince Young Fan" after the bowl game.
Can't wait to the game rolls around next year.
Vince Young Giving the Buckeyes Props
Vince was on the radio station in Houston this morning giving the Buckeyes major Props..
He said that "Hawk" was really good, showed nothing but respect to him; and then was asked if USC was tougher than OSU, he just laughed like...why are you asking such...
This could be said on both sides of the ball... there were plenty of mistakes made in this game, from UT and OSU...
IT was a great game... one I will not soon forget... Hats off to both defenses.
Great Game
:D -- Good call Miliani...
Y'alls Team gave a young man... heart attacks...
I was really impressed with you D-Fense. Y'all did a great job, of corrallin' Vince... he had no-where to run often... and had to lower his shoulder and get 1 or 2 hard fought yards.
I thought you LB's...
Yes that stigma still exist in the black community, even a bit after James Brown, People are beginning to accept the situation now that Vince is in the forefront.
Still alot of folks pulling for OU, however.... I Think Last years OU roster had 60 something percent of the kids were from...
I think the only comparison that can be made to Reggie Bush right now, is Romance is speedy, and seemingly see;s the field well... We have only seen flashes of him in game time situations. But he has the POTENTIAL to be great...
He did find a way to get positive yardage, he racked up the Yards...
Oh... no doubt... :BENSON had some big shoes to fill... 6th on all-time list... But what I am saying is that in comparison to Benson our backs may be a small letdown... but not to the point where it leaves our running game in shambles.
Man... I don't think Anybody wants to cut back and see...
Losing Benson
Losing Benson should not be understated, yet Benson benefitted more from having Vince in the backfield then Vince benefitted from Ced, being in the backfield.
They were a dynamic tandem, each having the ability to perform well without the other... However I don't think Selvin...
Here is something to add fuel to the fire...
Michigan didn't face a 100% Healthy Cedric Benson; he hyper-extended his knee the very first play of the game, on a cutback. I don't believe he ever recovered from that play.
Now with that being said... IT has nothing to do with the game on...
