    ...and perhaps the game??? :roll2:

    OL Justin Boren (Official Thread)

WyoBuck - good post. What Jusitn Boren said was supported openly by Pat White, who said he does not miss the swearing and yelling practices led by dickrod and his staff. Along with the obvious deceit and lies disckrod is known for, there is no reason in the world for a young man with values...

    OL Justin Boren (Official Thread)

I think the OSU staff will be much more interested in any thing they can learn about the new scum offense and defense under dickrod to help them better prepare. We can pretty much throw out the the OSU book on preapring for LLLLLoyd's boys - it's a whole new ball game...er, rivalry! Think...

RB Brandon "Zoom" Saine (official thread)

True - overall he gained over 5 yards per carry for the season, but I was mostly referring to some of the rough spells his first year: 5-17 versus Texas, 5-18 versus Cinn, 5-11 verus PSU, 5-6 versus Bowling Green, 4-21 versus Illinois, and a fumbling problem. My only point was he did much better...

    QB Joe Bauserman (official thread)

Agree - and the few times that the pocket did collapse, he showed suprising mobility and playmaking ability. Think he has a good shot to be the number 2 QB.

    OL Justin Boren (Official Thread)

...well it's worth the thought anyhow - even more recent experience beating an SEC team! I 'll bet the coaches "pick his brain a bit" as he's seen a little bit of dickrod's offense at scum practices and also if we ever get to play Fla again! :osu:

RB Brandon "Zoom" Saine (official thread)

I also wondered why Saine did not do more in the Spring Game. But as mentioned by others above, Beanie also seemed to struggle a bit when he came off the bench into an offense that was better aligned to Pittman. Once Beanie became the featrured back with plays built more to his style (the...

...hopefully he also brings the OL blocking schemes that worked so well against a speedy Fla. SEC team. :D

    Big Ten Network (BTN)

Don't hope for any better on DISH. I got BTN with the DISH Top 200 plan - but they took it off and put it on a Sports Tier here in CT. You now have to pay extra for it here - $5.99 - I think. BTW - DISH still shows it as part of the plan on their web site - so be wary when checking it out...

QB Antonio Henton (transfer to Ga. Southern and FT. Valley St.)

Agree. It may also depend on a QB's abilities in each of those situations. Some create opportuities by simply being able to get the ball to an outlet receiver under pressure, some can scramble with their feet, some can flat out run with the ball, others can throw the ball well on the run, others...

    WR Ray Small (official thread)

True, any form of discipline can demoralize - hopefully only for the short term though. The forms of discipline you mention and others work fine. As in my original post I favor "discipline that penalizes but does not stigmatize" or leave a lasting reminder when and if one does earn it back...

    WR Ray Small (official thread)

True, it is just a number, and it is more of a a perception thing. While it is just my opinion, it seemed a bit uneceesary. To some their uniform number is important and serves as thier identy. FWIW - it has been reported many times that some Professional athletes buy or offer to buy their...

    Confirmed: D. Washington, Clifford, O'Neal

Agree we may never know, which unfortunately leads to further rumors, etc. etc. However, I trust JT will deal with them fairly and approriately, despite those who will always think otherwise and report the worst. Too bad though, that some of these kids don't fully understand their opportuities...

Tressel Quotes - these are the only statements from an identified and reliable source I have seen (Source O-Zone): "Sometimes you don't do what you're supposed to do and you lose your car keys," said Tressel. "I guess that's as simple as I can put it." "It's like anything else. When things...

    WR Ray Small (official thread)

I guess because it was not stated in anything I read that he could get it back. If he can, that would be great!!! :gobucks1: I assumed he could earn his way back to good graces - but IMHO it would be much better if he could get his old number back for the reasons mentioned - glad you might...
